Geet Sagar

Geet Sagar is an Indian singer (born c. 24th February,1984 originating from Gwalior, India) who won the inaugural season of the Indian X Factor.[1] He was mentored by judge Shreya Ghoshal in the Over-25 category. He won cash prize of Rs50 lakh, a car and opportunity to sing in a Karan Johar film.[2]

Before applying to the X Factor, Sagar was an event manager. He started his career radio jockey for Lemon 91.1 FM radio station.[3]

Life and career

Geet Sagar was born to Satyendra and Archana Shrivastava in the district of Hisar, Haryana where his father was posted as an army officer. His father is a retd. army officer and his mother is a teacher in the Army School. Sangeet Sarita is her adorable younger sister. From a very early age Geet Sagar had a burning passion for music. As stated by him that it gave immense pleasure to his heart whenever he used to sing in front of his parents or his relatives. The joy he found in singing was incomparable and that led to his aspiration of becoming a singer.
